A rotary switch, made popular by PRS® guitars - not as common as they once were to be honest, but a great little part.

Essentially, its a super switch, similar to the traditional "lever" type - 4 switches in 1, each "input" corresponds to the position of the switch - and connects to the common, and it does it 4 times over.

This allows you do do coil splitting and tapping, phase switching, series and parallel swapping - pretty much anything you can think of!

The real fun though, starts when using the rotary switch as a secondary switch - replace a tone pot with one, and you can do all sorts! (changing the functionality of the remaining tone knob on a strat for me - swapping between traditional/"better"/ Bass control is great fun!)

Supplied with nut and washer, and available in 3 and 5 way versions.
