These are a wonderful little switch, which you can use in so many places on a guitar - essentially, a mini switch, which you'll often find being used to do "secondary switching" (Coil splits, Phase switches, main switch bypasses etc) but they're built around a few little tweaks that improve the idea enormously.

Firstly, everythings more substantial - rather then the M6 threads on normal mini switches, these are M12 (so, can be used in the place of pickup selector switches in their 1/2" holes!) with a chunkier, low profile arm.

Secondly, the threaded section is 11mm long, so they're not limited to pickguards and control plates, and are capable of being installed "into the wood" of a guitar.
