Our Late 50s single coils are a real favourite of ours – they represent a turning point within guitar history, which whilst almost an “end of era” change to the design, has ticked along quietly in the background thanks to a die hard following from some of the biggest names in music.

Wound using 42 AWG Formvar insulated copper, to around 6Kohm, and utilising 3/16” poles, the Late 50s capture that touch stone moment perfectly, and are capable absolutely nailing some of the most iconic Strat® tones we associate with Blues and Rock.

We eventually brought all pickup winding in house, and the Daddy-os (and the Class
Acts!) were phased out and replaced by the Late 50s Single coils, which are,
100%, THAT 1957 pickup – warmer then the Daddy-os, richer in the lows, glassier
and more charming in the highs, however, in recent years, honestly? We’ve been
missing the old design a little, so, being that bit more experienced, I figured
it was time see what we could do to get close.

Snapping, bright, raking, capable of playing cleaner then clean, crisper then crisp, but also, incredibly adept when driven, even at relatively high levels of gain! A 60s Strat could do it all.

Our Late 60s single coils are one of those pickups that are based on such a wide range of pickups, that, really, they could have been called the mid 60s, the 70s, most of the 80s and 90s – this spec was the “final” formula that answered all the questions the Stratocaster could post.

Designed way back when Axesrus® first started, and working pretty closely to the template used for the incredibly popular Alamo edition, this version finally ticks every box, dots every I and crosses every T when it comes to nailing that rich, soulful Texan tone.

When designing the “TTLD” our aim was to capture the aggression and rich low mid-range that we‘ve come to expect from the Laudanum, and cage it in within the confines of a single coil sized humbucker. This resulted in a mini beast of a rock and metal pick-up. This little monster thinks its ten feet tall!

The TT73s give a clear, articulate tone that really suits faster rhythm work, especially in the bridge position, giving a booming growl that’s absolutely perfect for Punk and Metal if you really push them hard.

Single coil pickup covers, suitable for most Fender pickups, as well as DiMario, Seymour Duncan and Axesrus models - spaced 52mm center to center, to take a 5mm pole diameter.

These pickup covers are faithful reproductions of the original Single Coil covers used in the early Stratocaster® - made from Nylon rather then the PVC found on later models, and with a much softer bevel on the outside edge giving them a slightly more rounded appearance.

These pickup covers are designed for 7 String Pickups and are available in a range of colours with 61.2mm spacing.

These covers, are 50mm spacing, which means, when measured E to e,
center to center across the poles, that spacing, is 50mm. (actually
50.2mm, but you’ll excuse
me rounding a little).

Good quality Springs to hold Pickups against pick guards reliablly, with a little bit of play.

This is a set of switch mounting and pickup height adjustment bolts for the Fender® Statocaster® and similar guitars.

Specifically, these are 6-32 UNC (imperial thread) bolts, with dome, phillips heads, with 6 "small" head screws for the pickups, and 2 larger headed versions for the switch, as well as 6 height adjustment springs.

The Bridge dishes out red hot saw edged grunt, perfect for chugging chords and screeching distortion. Great for solos over a distorted back drop when you need all the bite and clarity you can get. This set is a must for anyone who’s wants to turn their guitar from a country fried jangler into a grunting, screaming rocker.

Silicone tuning used on single coils, traditionally used in place of the springs (which have become much more common nowadays) - but the old silicone tubing has a bit of vintage charm about it.

6-32 UNC bolts usually turn up on American/Mexican/UK made instruments and parts - primarily pickups and switches, but they are becoming more common on Eastern made things too nowadays - its a little bit confusing, because theres a few different "types" (and you do get guitars that have a mix of different heads/lengths) - so as a quick, rough and ready guide.
