This is a wiring loom for a Fender® Stratocaster® (or similar guitar) that replaces the standard "volume and 2 tone" controls with a "volume, master treble and master tone" setup!

The "neck" tone is now the master treble control, and thats actually slightly different from a standard Tone pot - where a normal tone simply acts as a volume control for high frequencies, and leaves all other frequencies untouched - the control on this loom also lowers the bass frequencies slightly, making the treble control a little more focused - a little more usable. The best way i can describe it (atleast before the sound clips are done!) is that it makes the bridge pickup sound like the Neck, and the Neck sound like theres a pickup half way up the fret board! A "Super Neck"!

The Bass control is a little simpler - it simply acts as a volume control for the low frequencies - essentially, a normal tone control in reverse. Its capable of making the guitar much more cutting, much raunchier, much more biting!

Using both controls together opens up a whole range of different tones and options too (rolling both new controls down hard will give a sort of "cocked wah" sound - just a very focused mid rangy tone.

Beyond the weird controls - its business as usual though - all fits into a standard pickguard, all fits into standard routing, it doesn't require a battery or any specific pickups.

Built using CTS pots throughout, an Axesrus switch as standard, a Cornell Dubillier Cap (0.022) and a switchcraft mono socket - all wired up, ready to connect pickups to and your ready to go.

The loom is customisable (click on "want to customise") - the only thing you cant change, is the bass controller and the cap values - those have got to be set in stone - but beyond that, theres a few tweaks if your doing something weird!

And, again, if you want it to be solderless, thats an option in the custom menu too.
