This is a Steel control plate, immaculately plated, to fit a Fender® Mustang® Bass - worth noting, that this is not the same control plate that is fitted to the Mustang® guitar (either USA of Japanese) and it isn't the same as the plates used on USA and Mexican Basses- its actually a pretty rare part - as near as i can tell, Fender® standardised the production of the Mustang Bass in the 2010s, and the Japanese versions ditched this plate in preference for the USA spec version (which doesn't appear to exist on the after market)

Apparently too, this plate turned up on the short lived (2012) Fender Player Marauder

Frankly, its an oddball plate, and its worth checking if it will fit your guitar (full diagram under the tech spec tab)
