This is a full kit for making the pickups for a Fender P Bass or similar guitar

A "Small" bass bridge cover – matching up to the style used on models made after 1958

Not something you see very often with after market pickups nowadays, but traditionally, the P bass® comes with a brass grounding plate, which the height adjustment foams stick to. It doesn't do a great deal truth be known (its too far away from the magnets to have any real impact) - but it certainly makes a Precision® Bass pickup "vintage correct"

This Kit contains everything you need to make a replacement pickup for the Fender® original P Bass® - Very different to what we think of as the modern P bass, this is simply a single coil bobbin, similar to a Stratocaster, simply with 4 poles to match the strings.

Available for a range of different guitars and bases, in different grades of Alnico, different combinations of length, and different diameters.

These Alnico 5 pole pieces are exactly the same as we use on our single coil pickups, but we're providing them un-magnetised to allow for full customisation.

Flat work, made from vulcanised rubber, suitable for the Fender® '51 Precision® Bass - Differing wildly from what we think of as a "normal" P bass®, the original design was nothing more then an uncovered single coil, similar to the Strat® that would follow.

When we're dealing with surface mounting pickups, traditionally, there will be some relatively hard, close celled foam underneath which will give some level of height adjustment - its certainly not variable as "hanging" pickups, with the bolts and springs, but its fairly common - The Jazzmaster®, Jaguar®, Precision® and Jazz® Bass, as well as most P90s will employ sponges.
