Gibson® sized humbucker ring, slightly narrower then the Epiphone® size version, with a slightly softer radius on the corners, and pretty much exclusively used by Gibson®.

There is a weird quirk with Gibson® sized humbucker rings - regardless of the contours on the face of the guitar, the rings are always the flat across the bottom.

Epiphone® sized humbucker ring, slightly wider then the Gibson® size version, and commonly found only on guitars manufactured in the far east.

These are the rings with the curved base to suit guitars, such as the Les Paul®, with an arched top.
