A similar idea to the M8 conversion posts, which are intended to allow far eastern guitars to accept more traditional ABR bridges, this conversion post is designed to convert "Nashville bridge" equipped Gibson® guitars over to ABR bridges.

Gibson, strangely, actually use M5 threaded posts on their Nashvilles posts/bushes, rather then an Imperial thread, which is a little confusing, but beyond that, its as you expect really. These are conversion posts - allowing you to fit "true" ABR style bridges onto guitars that were never designed to take them.

They screw into the M5 bushes you'll find on most modern Gibsons nowadays (easily identifiable because of the one piece construction of the height adjustment post) and the part that sticks up, above the bush, is a 6-32 UNC section, which will allow you to fit a "real" ABR, with the smaller holes.

Really, its a cosmetic thing, and theres no real advantage to having a ABR over a Nashvilleone, but, lets be honest? Its something that bugs most of us at some point.

The only annoying part of this, is that these conversion posts are converting to imperial thread - so they're only intended to fit Gibson® thumb wheels (or thumb Wheels for a Gibson®) - Gotoh® and Axesrus® thumb wheels DO NOT FIT.

And, just so we're entirely transparent here - this listing is for 1 (one) post, not the pair, and only the post is supplied - no bushing, no thumb wheel, no Hex Wrench.
