Description Technical Specs

Gotoh's 510 tremolos represent the pinnacle in Gotoh's tremolo design combining the best in design, materials and functionality. The Gotoh 510T series tremolos eschew conventional vintage style and instead focus on greater tremolo functionality. Precision machined, they are subjected to a high-grade heat treatment and available in a variety of finishes. They also feature an extremely hard-wearing and resilient chromium molybdenum steel tremolo blade, and a low clearance arm system of Gotoh's own design.

The FST block, another original Gotoh design, features an angled internal cutaway which prevents the strings from touching the plate, significantly increasing the unit's ability to return to tune when using the tremolo arm.

Each unit includes the arm, springs, spring-holder, wrench and screws.

5 of 5 Excellent Bridge - well worth the money! December 31, 2019

Installed this very easily on my 30-year old silver series Squier Strat.  I was advised to measure the settings on the old bridge (viz. saddle height, saddle position, tremolo claw etc) and replicate these on the replacement before fitting.  Great advice - this simplified the setting up process.
What a dramatic improvement compared to the original and (in my view) the standard bridge on more expensive Strats!  This is how the floating Stratocaster bridge should be.  It is responsive, stays in tune and has a rattle free tremolo arm.  A very nice feature is the ability to control the movement of the tremolo arm via a tension screw.  Excellent if you want to be able to release the arm and know where it is, unlike the Fender equivalent which just falls away - usually just out of reach!
The engineering is superb and just exudes quality.  If you value functionality over appearance and you can afford this bridge - why use anything else!

5 of 5 Great quality, well worth the money November 14, 2016

This really is a well made bridge, I've mostly been using Wilkinson units in my partscaster projects, but will upgrade them with these Gotoh blocks. Loads of sustain and stable tuning, with a nice short bar, torque adjustable. The Cosmo finish is really nice.
