Not exactly a P90 sound, but covers similar ground |

If you want a P90, get your Tele routed for a P90. If you want an amazing-sounding bridge pickup that is full and warm, yet still very much a Tele bridge pickup, then look into this. I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant about dropping a fair whack on a pickup that isn't made by a name-brand I know (SD, etc) or a boutique company making bold claims about their products. I was convinced by the reviews and sound demos. Although richer in bass and low-mids than your normal Tele pickup, these are open-sounding, too. I only have the bridge pickup, but it's the best Tele bridge pup I've used and is a fabulous all-rounder.
Although the different construction means that it can't sound +exactly+ like a P90, it sits in a mix in a similar way. Perfect for rock, especially garage, but can also take a LOT of overdrive/distortion without losing clarity.
