I bought this bridge to experiment with exchanging it for the factory bridge on a Harley Benton CST-24 Hollow body. The guitar ships with an PRS style wrap over aluminium bridge. I felt the guitar would sound better with a heavier bridge. The Wilkinson is quite heavily plated and highly polished, but the plating process actually closes off the end of the string channels. I had to very carefully file off the plating from each string channel right at the point where the string leaves the bridge. The bridge did I feel improve the tone and sustain of this guitar.
